I am sorry to
announce that I am, as of 9/12/09, turning down the role of the Drama Club
advisor for the 2009-2010 school year.After wrestling with scheduling conflicts in my outside life, I have
come to the realization that I am unable to balance all of what needs
balancing, and that the only thing that can easily be sacrificed is the
OLDC.With luck, Mr. Berg will be able
to find somebody else to direct the OLDC during the normal timeslot, with
auditions in December or January, with a mid-March performance date.
I would like to
thank all of the students who have been with me in the OLDC for the last two
years, and the faculty and staff at Oak-Land who have been so kind and
helpful.My best wishes to those students
who will continue on without me.I am
sorry to do this after running auditions, but that process helped me to make
this decision.You all did a wonderful
job, and I wish you luck in the future.In fact, please let me know when you do have your show.I'll do everything I can to make it.
